Whether it's your Phone Calendar or Planner, try these tips:
- Block out a weekly study schedule:
- Figure 3-hours of study-time, per 1-credit.
PG R100A - EOPS Student Success (1 credit class x 3 hours = 3 hours of study time)
ART R101 - Intro to Art (3 credit class x 3 hours = 9 hours of study time)
2. Block out a weekly class schedule:
- Online classes typically don't have a scheduled class time, which makes scheduling your week hard!
- On your calendar commit to certain days every single week, scheduling time you'll spend for class work and time you'll spend for study time.
- Mark all these time in your calendar.
* This is your Class and Study Time, so do your best to stick with the schedule you create.
3. Due Dates:
- Mark in your Calendar specific Assignments, Projects, and Quiz/Exam dates.
- Plan Ahead! Calculate how long a task will take, then plan accordingly and schedule that time in your calendar.

- What time are you studying? - - are you alert during this time of day/night?
- Are you spending more than 2-hours studying during one study session? - - if you are, that's too much study time in one session.
- Are you spreading out your study time over the week? - - or are you cramming it all in the night before an exam?
